Pet Care Meds
Delete your account and data
Pet Care Meds (listed on Google Play as Pet Care Meds) lets you delete your account and the app-held data tied to it. Follow the steps below.
Delete in the app (recommended)
Open Pet Care Meds on your phone, sign in, go to Settings, choose Delete account, and complete the confirmation step. This removes your Firebase sign-in account and deletes synced data processed by our service as described below.
If you cannot access the app
Email support@petmeds.app from the address associated with your account. Include “Account deletion request” in the subject. We will verify ownership and delete your data or guide you through recovery, as appropriate.
What we delete
After a successful in-app account deletion, we remove app-held content tied to your account, including:
- check_circleYour user profile document and account identifiers stored with our backend (Firebase)
- check_circlePet profiles, medications, schedules, dose logs, care-circle memberships, invites, and related records linked to your user ID
- check_circleFiles you uploaded for your account (such as pet photos) in our cloud storage, where applicable
- check_circleYour authentication record with the sign-in provider used for Pet Care Meds (so you can no longer sign in with that account)
What may be kept or is outside this app
- infoApple App Store and Google Play purchase and subscription records (managed by Apple or Google). Cancel subscriptions in your store account if needed; deletion here does not cancel store billing automatically.
- infoMinimal technical or billing records our payment or subscription processors must retain for fraud, tax, or legal obligations—without ongoing access through Pet Care Meds.
- infoInformation already held offline on your device until you uninstall the app or clear local storage.
Retention timing
Deletion is intended to complete promptly after the in-app flow succeeds. If you contact email support, we aim to respond and complete verified requests within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days, unless a legal hold or technical issue requires longer, in which case we will explain the delay).
